Connecting to Your Authentic Self

Have you ever had a conversation with someone where you felt connected with them on a deep internal level?  The connection I’m talking about isn't romantic but vulnerable.

Like two humans seeing each other on a soul-deep level when they recognize a kindred spirit.

It’s being seen and known with the mind and heart rather than visually or from the safe surface-level conversations that we normally experience in our day-to-day.

There is something about that level of connection that can feel terrifying. And it also can be incredibly fulfilling.

Something I’ve noticed about coaching (receiving it as a client with my coach and helping my clients find it for themselves) is that it facilitates that type of connection with ourselves if we let it.

It can feel scary to really get to know ourselves.  Yet how can we have a truly fulfilling and thriving life if we don’t know who we are or what we really want?

It’s easy to let others tell us what we want rather than bravely finding that for ourselves.  But it can lead to a place of regret if we spend our whole lives living as someone else.

Do you want to live an authentic life?  Do you want to really be who you are?  Do you know who you are?

Here are 3 questions to help you begin having that deep conversation with yourself…

1 - What is it that I long for in the quiet moments of my life?

2 - Where do I feel most like myself? (Dig into the details of that place and see what feels most like you there.)

3 - What are the values I want to honor in my life?

If you would like to explore how coaching can help you see more of who you are and what you want from life, I’d be honored to explore that with you.  You can schedule a free 30-minute call HERE to see what that could look like.
